For nearly two decades, Kerry Giacomino has dedicated her life to helping rescue dogs heal, grow, and find the families they deserve.
But along the way, she saw too many dogs without the individualized attention, enrichment, and preparation they truly needed to succeed in their forever homes.
So she built something different.
At One Dog at a Time Rescue, every dog receives the time, attention, structure, enrichment, and care needed to truly thrive. By intentionally keeping the number of dogs small, Kerry is able to focus on each dog’s individual needs, helping them become confident, balanced, and genuinely ready for their forever home.
This isn’t rescue as a numbers game.
It’s rescue with purpose.

From car rides to day trips, Greg and Kerry treat every rescue dog like family, providing the individualized attention, enrichment, and experiences that help them thrive.
